Directions (6-10): Read the following information carefully and answer the questions that follow:
Eight persons – A, B, C, D, E, F, G and H are from different cities – Gurgaon, Kochi, Darjeeling, Agra, Shimla, Chennai, Srinagar and Mumbai but not necessarily in the same order. k + z = 5640 - (1320 + 360) = 3960 ......(i)
k + y = 5820 - (360 + 960) = 4500 ....(ii)

Adding eq (i) and (ii) and subtracting (iii) from the sum, we get
k = 4500 + 3960 - 6060 = 2400
