16. Paul R Milgrom and Robert B Wilson

  • Paul R Milgrom and Robert B Wilson have been declared as the winners of the 2020 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences.
  • They have been awarded for “for improvements to auction theory and inventions of new auction formats."
  • Both of them are American economists.

17. Robert Lewandowski

  • Robert is a Polish footballer.

18. Louise Glück

  • Louise Glück has won the Nobel Prize for Literature for the year 2020.

  • Senior IPS officer M A Ganapathy has been appointed as director-general of Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS).

  • They have been awarded for the discovery of the hepatitis C virus.
  • Harvey J Alter and Charles M Rice are American Scientists while Michael Houghton is a British scientist.
