EPFO SSA Cut Off 2019: Expected Cut Off

In August 2019 the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), conducted the Phase-1 Preliminary examination to fill 2189 Vacancies in various regions across the nation for the post of Social Security Assistant. The examination was held on 31st August in two shifts. The level of EPFO SSA Prelims Exam was easy and the attempts ranged from 79 to 88 out of 100 (as per the review shared by students who appeared for the exam. 

EPFO SSA Prelims Exam Pattern

Let's have a look at the Exam Pattern for EPFO SSA Prelims 2019 Exam: the number of questions as well the duration in which the exam needs to be completed.

EPFO SSA Prelims Expected Cut Off


The cut depends of certain factors:
  • Total Number of Vacancies (state wise)
  • No. of aspirants who appeared for the exam
  • Difficulty level and average good attempts

As per the official notification published by Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation "The candidates will be shortlisted for Phase-II in the ratio of1:10 i.e. about 10 times the number of vacancies in each category on the basis of their performance in Phase -  I". Considering the level of the examination and good attempts, we can say that this year's EPFO SSA Prelims Cut Off can be expected to fall between 83- 89.

Note: The cut off will be different for each state, so it will vary accordingly.
