  • Beyond - further away than something else
  • Sectarian - caused by disagreements among people from different religious groups
  • Gender-neutral - relating to policies or ideas that seek to avoid or remove obvious distinctions between genders
  • Address - to give attention to or deal with a matter or problem
  • Desertion - the act of leaving
  • Spouse - a person's husband or wife
  • Instant - happening immediately, without any delay
  • Offence - an illegal act; a crime
  • Amidst - if something happens amid particular feelings or events, it happens while people have these feelings or while these events are happening
