Dear Students, IDBI released the notification for the recruitment of Assistant Managers in the month of March this year, the examination for which is scheduled to be held on 17th of May 2019. This puts on you the onerous task of endeavoring to achieve your career goals without procrastinating anymore. We all do that everytime the exams are near. Isn't it? But then, some people bring it to fruition while others don’t. Why? Students, what plays an important role in one's stellar performance in any competitive examination is hardwork acccompanied by round-the-clock practice accompanied by a pinch of sincerity and determination. Here is how to prepare for IDBI Assistant Manager 2019 Exam:

To all those who make hard and fast rules while setting up a study timetable, go for a realistic timetable. A timetable that includes long hours of studies and no short breaks in between takes you nowhere. So, include short and frequent study sessions in your timetable accompanied by some leisure activities that keep you refreshed throughout.

Next comes assigning the study hours to the different subjects that will be asked in the examination. Remember not to prioritize a single subject in your study schedule, thereby giving the cold shoulder to other equivalently grave subjects. So, even if you are a dab hand at Quant, practice it daily like any other subject you are not so good at.

Are you one out of those who keep cutting the corners every time? Bear it in mind that the pattern of banking examinations keeps changing very frequently. You don't know what's up next and so, to be ready for a bolt from the blues, dive deep into all the subjects that will be asked in the examination.

Do you have the habit of cramming all day long and leave the revision to be done in the last days before the examination? Yes. Isn't it? Most of the aspirants are into this habit and they end up lying under a pile of stuff to be revised at the time of examination. If you do not want the important topics to be left unrevised then include at least one hour of revision in your daily schedule and play it safe.

Fix a day and time, and give a mock test that simulates the real examination every day. Once you are used to giving such speed tests, any online examination no longer seems outlandish to you and you score fairly well.

What relaxes you the most? Listening to your favorite music, going out on a walk, meditation, playing some outdoor games or any other activity? Include it in your daily schedule because it lightens you up after swotting up all day long.

Section-wise Tips For IDBI Assistant Manager 2019 Exam:

Quantitative Aptitude Section

The trick to scoring marks in Quantitative Aptitude Section is to attempt the questions on Quadratic Equations, Simplification and Approximation first and then going for Number Series. After having attempted all these questions efficiently, go for Data Interpretation. The remaining few questions will be based on miscellaneous topics like CI & SI, Time and Work, Pipes and Cisterns, Partnership, etc. Attempt those miscellaneous topics first which you are good at. Try to read each and every question so that you can attempt maximum number of questions.

Logical Reasoning, Data Analysis and Interpretation Section

The trick to attempt the maximum number of questions in Reasoning Section in minimum time is to attempt the difficult puzzles in the end. The expected number of questions on puzzles and seating arrangement is 15-20. Start with the questions that are not in the form of puzzles, you can choose to start with the questions based on inequalities, direction and distance, syllogism, coding-decoding, alphanumeric series, and other random topics. Then try to start with puzzles that appear easy to be solved and proceed with moderate and difficult puzzles in a similar way.

English Language Section

The trick for scoring in English section can vary from one person to another depending on his/her strengths and weaknesses. If you are good at vocab and reading then attempt the reading comprehension first and proceed with Cloze Test and other topics like Error Detection, Para Jumbles,etc. But if you are good at grammar, attempt Comprehension in the end. The comprehension too should be attempted in a way that questions based on vocab/phrases are attempted first and then the questions that need a deep penetration through the paragraphs are done with.

General/Economy/Banking Awareness Awareness Section
