Vocabulary is an important part of English that helps you deal with all kinds of questions in objective as well as descriptive papers of various exams. In the recently concluded Banking Exams, we witnessed that a major part of the exam was based on vocabulary. Many questions were vocab based and we can expect the same in the upcoming exams. It becomes very important to learn ample amount of words for the upcoming Government Job Exams. You can learn new words daily from our Daily Word List . Here is a list of words from daily Editorials. 1.TRICKLE (noun)  बूंद-बूंद
Meaning: a small flow of liquid.
Synonyms: ooze, drizzle, sprinkle, dribble.
Antonyms: flood, inundation, deluge, outpouring.
Usage: He felt the tears trickle under his spectacles and hoped they would not be noticed.

2. TELLTALE (adjective) साफ दिखाई देने वाले
Meaning: revealing, indicating, or betraying something.
Synonyms: denotative, indicative, reflective, signifying.
Antonyms: cheeseparing, uninformative, unaired, secretive.
Usage: Her nasty tone was a telltale sign of her irritation, even though she didn’t say anything particularly mean.

3. UNSCATHED (adjective) अक्षत
Meaning: without suffering any injury, damage, or harm.
Synonyms: intact, safe, unscarred, secure.
Antonyms: hurt, injured, harmed, wounded.
Usage: It was strange how the fire destroyed most of the city but left the church unscathed.

4. CORUSCATE (verb): उज्जवल होना
Meaning: (of light) flash or sparkle.
Synonyms: scintillate, shimmer, sparkle, twinkle.
Antonyms: converge, darkle, dull.
Usage: The flashlight was used to coruscate a message to the other campers across the lake.

5. DILATORY (adjective) धीमा
Meaning: slow to act
Synonyms: sluggish, slothful, lax, slack.
Antonyms: fast, prompt, brisk, quick.
Usage: They were dilatory in providing the researchers with information.

6. CONFABULATE (verb): बातचीत करना
Meaning: to talk informally
Synonyms: cackle, chat, patter, schmooze.
Antonyms: be silent, be quiet.
Usage: Guests gathered in the hallway to confabulate about the weather and make small talk.

7. PANOPLY (noun) धूमधाम
Meaning: a splendid display.
Synonyms: show, pomp, array, exhibit.
Antonyms: concealment, cover, hiding, plainness.
Usage: The designer’s exciting panoply of dresses won over the fashion critics.

8. PREDILECTION (noun) झुकाव
Meaning: a preference or special liking for something; a bias in favor of something
Synonyms: fondness, penchant, inclination, propensity.
Antonyms: aversion, disinclination, detachment, apathy.
Usage: Although Betsy loves all types of music, she has a predilection for country tunes.

9. RAVENOUS (adjective) अति पेटू
Meaning: (of hunger or need) very great; voracious.
Synonyms: insatiable, greedy, gluttonous, edacious.
Antonyms: content, sated, satiated, satisfied.
Usage: No matter what type of stressful situation I’m facing, my body responds by eating everything in sight because of my ravenous appetite.

10. CRAVEN (adjective) डरपोक
Meaning: contemptibly lacking in courage; cowardly.
Synonyms: dastardly, pusillanimous, recreant, spineless.
Antonyms:  daring, dauntless, fearless, gallant.
Usage: Robin is such a craven individual that he did not bother to stand up for his wife when a stranger attacked her.
