IBPS is an autonomous body, set up to recruit number of aspirants in the field of banking and insurance sector. IBPS provides its services to almost all the PSBs. Every year lakhs of students register themselves with IBPS and strive to achieve their goals through the blend of their knowledge and capability. In the year 2017-2018, 1.09 crores aspirants registered for various IBPS examination. This shows the speed, accuracy and confidentiality of the organization in itself. Last year, in 2018 IBPS conducted the PO exam in the month of October on 13th, 14th, 20th and 21st October and the Main exam was conducted on 18th November and the result for which is already out and the interview dates for the same have been declared. IBPS sets a new trend in 2018, of which quantitative aptitude was exorbitant and knottiest of all.English was a tricky one. Questions on para jumble were tweaked in a way that made it slightly different from how they used to be previously. Not many changes were seen in Reasoning section but yes, puzzles asked involved mathematical calculations that time. IBPS is known to set the new trend every time with the exams getting complex and competition is increasing in leaps and bounds. But if you are aiming IBPS PO 2019, then a good mix of attempt and accuracy can help you sail through this exam.
As the IBPS has already rolled out its calendar for the year 2019-2020, you have ample of time to work on your weakness and ace your grades. Do not wait for the notification to come out. Phase – II: Main Examination (2018)
Main Examination consists of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 25 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests is online.

1. Objective Test: The objective test of 3 hours duration consists of 4 Sections for total 200 marks. The objective test has separate timing for every section. The candidates are required to qualify in each of the Tests by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.
2. Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with 25 marks is a Test of English Language (Letter Writing & Essay).
