LCM (20, 25) = 100 unit
A’s efficiency = 100/20 = 5 unit/ min
B’s efficiency = 100/25 = 4 unit/min

5x = 55
⇒ x = 11 minute.

Let, required water to be drained out be x ℓ
∴ x + x – 6 =12
⇒ x = 9 ℓ
