Dear Readers,
The coming weekend is going to be very crucial for those appearing for SBI PO 2015 exam. As you have got an edge with the pattern and the types of questions coming in exams, you can make it an advantage. This time SBI displayed totally different pattern for the exam. This time not only the paper was easy but also filled with questions that they never used to give. Below we are going to discuss each and every thing that one should keep in mind.
Many candidates asked about which section to start with or what to do first. This can be different for each and every candidates. If you want to start the exam then you can start with English. Now talking about the basic structure of English section, following were the topics covered in exam.
You have to be very choosy when it comes to English section. In this section we would recommend you to first do the Cloze Test. After Cloze Test, you can go for fillers (If available). After doing fillers, try to do the antonyms and synonyms from Comprehension. Remember that comprehension is easy but lengthy. So its a trap that you have to avoid. And Spotting Errors also take very less time. Give it 2-3 minutes. If you are able to find the error, then its well and good otherwise no need to shoot the arrow in air.
This section is one of the scoring sections and the candidates who have already appeared for the examination said that this was the easiest of all. The pattern was typical but questions were very easy.
In reasoning, you should start with syllogism and then move to inequalities. After that go for blood relation and then attempt coding-decoding. And if time permits, then only try to do puzzle or seating arrangement otherwise go for next section.
Quantitative Aptitude
This is the section that one needs to be very careful about. As per previous papers of SBI, it was used to be a full DI section. But as this was the first time preliminary exam, it consisted of only 2 DI sets (10 Questions).
These DI's are easy and try to do a total of 6 to 7 questions from both the DI. After that move to Quadratic equation. They are very easy and the chances of making mistake is low. Then go to Simplification/Approximation, it may be little calculative but easy to solve. Then pick series and give it 2-3 minutes, if you are able to find the logic then its good otherwise leave it. After that you can go for the questions from Arithmetic section which includes CI/SI, Profit and loss, Percentage, Ratio and proportion.
These are the points that we have gathered from the experiences of all the candidates. So try to follow these, then you will definitely be able to cross 55 marks benchmark.
