Assam Police Sub Inspector Recruitment 2018:

Govt. of Assam has given approval for recruitment of another 360 posts of Sub Inspector (Un-Armed Branch) earlier it was 130 in Assam Police. So, now total number of vacancy is 490. Interested candidates can apply upto 12th November 2018. However, the candidates who applied earlier need not to apply again. In this article, we are providing eligibility criteria, exam pattern, selection procedure etc.

Total Number of Vacancies: 490 Vacancies

Age Limit :

• Minimum Age: 20 years 
• Maximum Age: 24 years

Note: Age will be calculated as on 1st January of 2018 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01-01-1998 and on or after 01-01-1994)

Pay Scale:
Pay scale of Rs. 14000- 49000 (Pay Band No. 2)plus Rs. 8700 Grade pay plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.

Educational Qualification:

The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institutions affiliated to a recognized University.
Note: Candidates must be Indian Citizen, ordinarily resident of Assam

There will be no application fee.

Assam Police SI Selection Procedure:

1. Written Test : 100 marks
2. Scrutiny Of Documents (Documents Verification)
3. Physical Standard Test
4. Physical Efficiency Test : 40 marks
5. Proficiency in Computer : 30 marks
