Finance Minister Arun Jaitley inaugurated the Platinum Jubilee (75 Years) celebrations of UCO Bank, the major government-owned commercial bank of India. Mr. Jaitley along with Ravi Krishna Takkar, MD & CEO of UCO Bank have released a special stamp to commemorate the event.
The FM also launched Women's Hockey Team of UCO Bank by handing over Stick to the Captain.
Jaitley has praised the Bank's initiative toward digitalisation and other great works carried by the Bank for the country's Economic Development at his speeh.To celebrate it's Platinum Jubilee, the Bank has adopted 75 Villages in India for digitalisation, opened special counter in 75 places for facilitating better services to the senior citizens and gave 75,000 MUDRA Loans to the eligible customers.
The ED of the Bank, G Subramaniaiyer concluded the event with Vote of Thanks.
