The 2018 Vietnam Open badminton tournament (also known as YONEX-SUNRISE Vietnam Open 2018) recently held from 7th to 12th August 2018 at at Nguyen Du Cultrual Sports Club in Vietnam. Indian shuttler Ajay Jayaram finished as runner-up in the men's singles event. He lost the final to Indonesian shuttler Shesar Hiren Rhustavito.
