1.Unhinged (adjective)-पागल, अव्यवस्थित
Meaning: mentally unbalanced; deranged.
Example: The picture that accompanies this article has become iconic — iconic for all the wrong reasons of course, a symbol of an unhinged, dismal world where the mother with a dead baby in her arms must hold herself up in all her vulnerabilities to convince the world of the seriousness of the issue she represents.

2.Exogamy (noun)-विजातीय विवाह
Meaning: the custom of marrying outside a community, clan, or tribe.
Example: The community grew mainly through immigration and exogamy, because of the proximity of Muslim Bengal. This gave the community an inherent fragility which perhaps made them repeatedly reach out for external assistance, thus deepening the communal divide.

3.Assimilate-आत्मसात्‌ करना
Meaning: take in and understand fully (information or ideas), (of the body or any biological system) absorb and digest (food or nutrients).
Synonyms: absorb, take in, acquire, pick up, grasp, comprehend, understand, learn, master.
Example: But the fact that they were never well-assimilated and at a point in history dared to express solidarity with another nation, reason enough for the punishing circumstances they suffer today? Is that justification for the wretched mother’s misery who kisses the forehead of her dead child? No.

4.Tumble (verb)-अचानक गिरना,पटक
Meaning: fall suddenly, clumsily, or headlong.
Synonyms: fall (over), fall down, topple over, lose one's footing, lose one's balance, keel over, pitch over, take a spill, collapse, fall headlong, fall head over heels, fall end over end.
Example: The picture of that unfortunate mother, eyes closed in resigned acceptance of her cruel destiny, lingers. And out tumbles our final question, angry because it is desperate: then what was Ms. Suu Kyi, State Counsellor since the landmark elections of 2015, doing?

5. Plenary (adjective)-पूर्ण, विस्तृत
Meaning: (of a meeting) to be attended by all participants at a conference or assembly, who otherwise meet in smaller groups.
Synonyms: full, fully constituted, general, complete, entire, open
Example: No debates on defence or strategic matters are ever held in plenary sessions of the Burmese Parliament and the annual defence budget is merely a matter of parliamentary record, not scrutiny.

6.Encompass (verb)-घेरना, धारना
Meaning: surround and have or hold within.
Synonyms: surround, enclose, ring, encircle, circumscribe, skirt, bound, border, fringe.
Example: It has deep roots which go back to 1948 or even beyond, it has a geographical spread that encompasses nearly the entire world or large tracts of it, causes of conflict that are social and economic as much as they are natural or religious.

7.Superficial (adjective)-सतही, पृष्ठीय
Meaning: existing or occurring at or on the surface.
Synonyms: surface, exterior, external, outer, outside, outermost, peripheral, slight
Example: To view the Rohingya issue merely as a racial or religious one is to catch the most superficial glimpse of it.

8.Tenuous (adjective)-क्षुद्र, छोटा
Meaning: very weak or slight.
Synonyms: slight, insubstantial, flimsy, negligible, weak, fragile, shaky, sketchy, doubtful, dubious, questionable, suspect.
Example: On November 1, Defence Secretary Michael Fallon resigned over brewing sexual harassment accusations, and there have been calls for Mr. Johnson, enfant terrible of Ms. May’s Cabinet, to resign over comments that may have exposed a British charity worker currently in an Iranian prison. Ms. May’s defensiveness draws from her tenuous hold on her position — caused largely by her decision to call a snap election in June, and destroying her wafer-thin majority in Parliament.

9. Conciliatory (adjective)-मिलाप करनेवाला, मित्र बनाने वाला
Meaning: intended or likely to placate or pacify.
Synonyms: placatory, appeasing, pacifying, pacific, mollifying, so as to pour oil on troubled waters, peacemaking, reconciliatory.
Example: Ms. May’s conciliatory speech in Florence in September failed to be the turning point in the Brexit negotiations that she hoped it would be.

10.Exacerbate (verb)-चिढ़ाना
Meaning: make (a problem, bad situation, or negative feeling) worse.
Synonyms: aggravate, make worse, worsen, inflame, compound.
Example: This is a challenge given that the U.K.’s autumn budget will be presented on November 22. Consequently, trade and transition talks may get pushed into 2018, exacerbating an already precarious situation for businesses and banks.
