1.Nefarious (adjective)
Meaning: (typically of an action or activity) wicked or criminal.
Synonyms: black, dark, evil, immoral, iniquitous, bad, rotten, sinful, unethical, unlawful, unrighteous, unsavory, vicious, vile, villainous, wicked, wrong.
Antonyms: decent, ethical, good, honest, honorable, just, moral, right, righteous, sublime, upright, virtuous.
Example: Default, by design, and under the watch of independent directors is unacceptable. However, the notion that all shell companies have a nefarious intent is misplaced.
2.Impeccable (adjective)
Meaning: in accordance with the highest standards; faultless.
Synonyms: flawless, faultless, unblemished, spotless, stainless, untarnished, perfect, exemplary, ideal, model.
Example: Directors of companies must have impeccable integrity. They must act as watchdogs for companies to uphold corporate governance and protect interests of all shareholders.
3.Vicarious (adjective)
Meaning: experienced in the imagination through the feelings or actions of another person.
Synonyms: indirect, second-hand, secondary, derivative, derived, at one remove, surrogate, substitute, substituted, by proxy.
Example: Criminal negligence is not some vicarious reflex. If a mishap occurred because senior management failed to allocate resources, either human or financial, that were needed in a systemic sense to prevent it, the misguided senior management would, indeed, be culpable.
4.Culpable (adjective)
Meaning: deserving blame.
Synonyms: to blame, guilty, at fault, in the wrong, blameworthy, blameable, censurable, reproachable, reprovable, found wanting.

8.Exploitative (adjective)
Meaning: making use of a situation or treating others unfairly in order to gain an advantage or benefit.
Example: Export-oriented industrialisation is promoted as the cure-all for all ills. Its labour force is mostly of women in low-wage and highly exploitative conditions, and where unions are not allowed to organise inside and outside export-processing zones.
9.Aggravate (verb)
Meaning: make (a problem, injury, or offence) worse or more serious, annoy or exasperate.
Example: Chronic under-investment in food production has intensified dependence on imports and also insecurity as consumers are more exposed to world market price fluctuations. The withdrawal of state support in access to credit, inputs and extension services as well as in direct purchase, storage, transport and distribution has abandoned producers to predatory middlemen, aggravating agrarian distress.
