Answers

1. Option (A)
  • A : B
  • Time 4 : 5
  • Work 5 : 4
  • So, A’s Share=5/9*4500=2500
  • B’s Share=4/9*4500=2000

2. Option (D)
  • 10 person can finish work= 25*20/10=50days
  • 15 person leave the work & work done in 37.5day
  • Only 37.5/50=3/4 part of the work. hence all person must work
  • Till (1-3/4)=1/4 of the work finished
  • 25 person ¼ work in 20/4=5days.
  • So, 15 person should leave the work after 5 days.

3. Option (B)
  • 20*3x+30*2x+36x=780
  • X=5
  • So, required amount= 2(15*3*5+21*2*5+30*5)=1170

4. Option (B)
15 days

5. Option (D)

  • A (x+8)
  • A (x+9/2)
  • (x+8)(x+9/2)/(2x+25/2) = x
  • X = 6days
