  • Moralise - to express judgments about what is morally right and wrong
  • Ironically - in a way that is different or opposite from the result you would expect
  • Sanctity - the special importance that some things have, especially traditional institutions
  • Clamping - if you clamp something in a particular place, you hold it there tightly
  • Nutrition - food considered as something that keeps you healthy
  • Standard of living - the type of life that a person or society has according to the amount of money that they have

  • Militancy - the process of using extreme and sometimes violent methods to achieve political or social change
  • Ties - friendly relations
  • Dispute - an argument or disagreement,
  • Severed - to end something such as a friendship or a connection completely and permanently
  • Complacent - a feeling of calm satisfaction with your own abilities or situation that prevents you from trying harder
  • Tactic - a planned way of doing something
  • Vouch for something - to say that you know from experience that something is true or good
