IBPS RRBs Officers Scale-1 Prelims 2016: Exam Analysis - 04th November 2016, Slot 5

November 4, 2016

Dear Readers,
As the Fifth shift of RRB Officers Scale-1 (PO) prelims is over and as always we are here with the analysis direct from the center. We have seen that many students are afraid and tensed as this is the first time RRB is conducting prelims with all new pattern. Without wasting any moment, let's get straight to the analysis which you all are interested in.
There are only two Sections in IBPS RRB Scale I (PO) Prelims exam namely Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. IBPS RRB Prelims Paper of Officers Contains 80 questions of 80 marks with a time duration of 45 minutes. There were 40 questions in each sections.

Overall Analysis:
As per the inputs shared by many students, the overall level of paper can be considered Easy to Moderate. The students have attempted quite decent number of questions and again, the Time Management, played an important role in the exam. Let us look at the below table to have a look:
Maximum Marks
Good Attempts
Reasoning Ability
Easy-Moderate
Quantitative aptitude
Easy-Moderate

The good attempts are based on the average attempts of various students we have sampled at different centres. And don't get disheartened before the final result as it is just the estimate. Now let us look at the Section Wise Analysis.
Reasoning Ability:
The Reasoning was a bit difficult. The questions were asked from various topics and students have reported that it was difficult to maintain the composure. The only relief was the less number of puzzle questions.

Quantitative Aptitude:
