- Storm - an occasion when a lot of rain falls very quickly, often with very strong winds or thunder and lightning
- Rendered - to cause someone or something to be in a particular state
- Disruption - a situation in which something cannot continue because of a problem
- Informal - not formal (friendly)
- Widespread - existing or happening in many places and/or among many people
- Evasion - the act of avoiding something or someone
- Inability - not being able to do something

- Peer - someone who belongs to the same social or professional group as another person
- Tizzy - feeling very nervous or confused
- Swoop - to make a sudden move
- Sown - to put seeds in or on the ground so that plants will grow

- Assuage - to make unpleasant feelings less strong

- Casualties - people who are injured or killed in an accident or military action
