Hello Friends,
Name – Arivarasan
Qualification – Mechanical Engineering
Happy to share my success story here. I am Arivarasan from madurai (tamil nadu) completed M.E in 2014 and joined as Assistant Professor in private engineering college and in a side preparing for core related PSU jobs. Within a year I found it was not my cup of tea and decided to play with strength rather than stick on with interest to have a successful career.
Since I am good in numbers and in english too, I had a thought 2 give a try for banking exams and appeared in SBI po 2015 (though appeared earlier for bank exams they all just for name shake, it is the first one after preparation) but shocked with the level of the exam and eliminated in prelims itself. So, I thought to give a rigorous preparation and came to know about Gradestack, which provide a nice platform for me in my preparation.
Taste some failures sorry stepping stones for success
- IBPS RRB 2015 -86 marks CUT OFF 108
- IBPS PO V – Cleared prelims n mains(86+55 in interview) couldn’t make in final list
- LIC AAO 2016- 212 marks not cleared.
Since I had been working, I only had a thought to clear PO and not applied for clerical cadre last year. I quit my job in may and try to give my heart and soul for exam preparation so that I couldn’t want to miss any opportunity and try to work on my weak areas. Firstly I am not so good in general and banking awareness, worked hard on this section (Thanks to GK TORNADO, GK DIGEST, STATIC GK, ONE LINERS by GradeUp).
I appeared in SBI clerk 2016, though I am sure about my selection, result is not published yet. UIIC AO 2016 not cleared and finally got selected in SBI PO 2016. Excited to see my roll no. on the final list.
For me the key to success is attending maximum possible easy questions in the exam. Sometimes reasoning section will be tough, some time Quant’s n English, some time all the 3 section will be tough as like as SBI PO Mains, all these cases we must try to pick easy questions and attend with high accuracy.
As in my case, I simply attended 24 in reasoning, 12 in Quant’s, 20 in English in SBI PO mains & got selected with 84 attempts only.
Second thing GA would be the scoring section & game changer in any exam. Thoroughly study the banking awareness once and it will be useful for all exams. Update yourself with general awareness regularly and also with static g.k. and you might crack the pattern for static g.k while repeatedly appearing for exams.
The most important thing is show patience once if you dont find the expected result try to learn from the mistakes, practice regularly, keep yourself away from the demotivating persons to reach your goal.
Success is like a destination, some has to travel short, some has to travel long but every one must travel to achieve it.
Thanks!!
