A,B,C,D,E,F,G and H are eight friends sitting around a circle in one arrangement facing outwards, and in a straight line in another arrangement where they face north. One of the immediate neighbours of H in the straight line sits opposite H in the circle. E sits third to the right of B in the circle, while fourth to his left in the straight line. F and C are the immediate neighbours of B in both the arrangements, but C is not at the extreme ends of the line. The one who sits on the extreme left end sits second to the right of E in the circle.
