SBI PO Mains 2015 Exam: Overall Cut-off

Dear Aspirants,

Many of you are going to appear in SBI PO Mains Exam which is scheduled to be held on 31^st July 2016. This year, SBI has changed the pattern of mains exam a bit. But the process of selection is going to be same as last year.

Last year, SBI PO Mains Exam was held in 26^th July 2015. The selection was based on 2 phases, Objective test & GD + Interview process. To get a call for next Interview round, you need to qualify the cutoff, which is applied in 3 stages –

• Sectional Cutoff– You need to qualify each section of the exam, if you fail to clear the cutoff of any of the sections, you will be out of the competition.
• Total Score of Objective Test(Overall Cutoff) – Also, you have to clear overall cutoff of the written exam. If you manage to clear the sectional cutoff of each section but fail to clear the overall cutoff, then also you will be out of the competition.
• Descriptive Test– Also, along with overall cutoff, you have to clear the descriptive test of the exam.

Below we are sharing sectional & overall cutoff of the previous year exam, which will give you clear idea about the level & cutoff of the exam.

Last Year SBI PO 2015 Mains Sectional Cutoff –

The descriptive test was checked of those candidates only who cleared sectional as well as overall cutoff in the objective test.

Combined marks of objective and descriptive test for candidates (who cleared the descriptive test cut off) were calculated.

The candidates who cleared the overall objective & descriptive cut-off were called for Group discussion & Personal Interview.

The marks of objective+Descriptive+GD+PI were added for those candidates who cleared GD+PI cut-off.

In the end, the marks scored by a student out of 300 were converted to a scale of 100 and final cut-off for selection in each category was released.

So be ready to accept the challenge at every stage. You have come so far, it is not too far.
