July 23, 2016

Dear Aspirants,

As you all are aware, the notification of RBI Grade B Officer Exam is already out. The Online Exam of Phase I will be held on 9th September 2016. While preparing for the exam, You all must have knowledge about previous year exam cutoff. As the final selection depends on the cutoff. The cutoffs in the previous year were based on the combined score of Written(Phase II) and Interview. So to help you get a vague idea about the cutoffs, here in this post we are sharing with you the previous year cutoff.

Last year, RBI Grade B Exam was held in November 2015. The selection was based on 3 phases i.e. – Phase I, Phase II & Interview. To get a call for Phase II round, you need to qualify the cutoff, which is applied in 2 stages –

  1. Sectional Cutoff You need to qualify each section of the Phase-I exam. If you fail to clear the cutoff of any of the sections, you will be out of the competition.
  2. Total Score of Objective Test(Overall Cutoff) – Also, you have to clear overall cutoff of the written exam. If you manage to clear the sectional cutoff of each section but fail to clear the overall cutoff, then also you will be out of the competition.

Phase I:

Candidates have to secure minimum marks separately for each test as well as aggregate, as prescribed by the Board. Candidates, who secure minimum marks separately for each Test, as prescribed, will be shortlisted for Phase-II of the examination based on the aggregate marks obtained in Phase-I.

Phase II:

Phase III:

In the last phase, Interview of 50 marks is conducted.
