  • Idol- a picture or statue that people pray to as part of their religion
  • looters - people who steal something dishonestly by using force
  • Thriving - growing
  • Illicitly - illegally
  • Procured - to get something, especially after an effort
  • Exposed - made (something) visible by uncovering it / reveal the true, objectionable nature of (someone or something)
  • Wing - a group of an organization
  • Raided - a short sudden attack, usually by a small group of people
  • Premises - the land and buildings owned by someone, especially by a company or organization
  • Sheer - used to emphasize how very great, important, or powerful something is
  • Seizure - the action of taking something by force or with legal authority
  • Ivory - the hard yellowish-white substance that forms the tusks of some animals such as elephants, used especially in the past to make decorative objects
  • Brazen - bold and without shame
  • Heritage - something  belonging to the culture of a particular society
  • Yielded - produced or provided
  • Numerous - great in number / many
  • Vessel - a curved container that is used to hold liquid
  • Dating back - to have existed for a particular length of time or since a particular time
  • Unparalleled - having no equal / better or greater than any other
  • Refinement - a small change that improves something
  • Sculpture - the art of forming solid objects that represent a thing, person, idea, etc. out of a material such as wood, clay, metal, or stone
  • Octogenarian - a person who is between 80 and 89 years old
  • Meticulously - very carefully
  • Shadowy - used to refer to someone or something about which little is known
  • Vast - extremely big
  • Plied - to sell or to work regularly at something, especially at a job that involves selling things
  • Numerous - many
  • Territory - (an area of) land, that is considered as belonging to or connected with a particular country or person
  • Alleged - said, without proof
  • Kingpin - the most important person within a particular organization
  • Artefact - an object made by a person, and having historical background
  • Antiquities - objects from the ancient past
  • Plundering - stealing goods violently from a place, especially during a war
  • Subcontinent - a large area of land that is part of a continent, often referring to South Asia
  • Signatory - a person, organization, or country that has signed an agreement
  • Convention - an agreement between states covering particular matters, especially one less formal than a treaty
  • Rubric - a heading on a document
  • Circumstances - situations
  • Breathtaking - extremely exciting / surprising
  • Trickled - to arrive or move somewhere slowly, in small numbers
  • Halt - to stop
  • Outflow - a large amount of money, valuable items, or people that is transferred out of a place
  • Surveillance - the careful watching of a person or place, especially by the police or army, because of a crime that has happened or is expected
  • Disrupt - to prevent something
  • Facilitating - to make something possible or easier
  • Proposal - a plan or suggestion, especially a formal or written one, put forward for consideration by others
  • Objection - an expression or feeling of disapproval or opposition / reason for disagreeing
  • Backdrop - the general situation in which particular events happen
  • Airbase - a military airport where aircraft are kept and can land and take off
  • Topography - the physical appearance of an area of land
  • Installation - a place where there are buildings and equipment that have a particular, especially military, purpose
  • Panoramic view - a view of a wide area
  • Geospatial - relating to data that is associated with a particular location
  • Legislation - law
  • Roadblocks - actions that prevent something from happening or working correctly
  • For instance - for example
  • Privacy - someone's right to keep their personal matters and relationships secret
  • Took centre stage - to be at the centre of attention
  • Household - a building that people, usually one family, live in
  • Reportedly - according to what many people say
  • Disaster management -  activity of preparing for and successfully dealing with extremely difficult or damaging events
