LIC ADO :Syllabus and Pattern

The month of June is about to get over and the monsoon season is approaching. The Monsoon in India has a huge significance both Mythologically and Economically. And for past few years it was bringing us the happiness in the form of IBPS notifications. And this happiness continued this year as well with so many notification and jobs.

LIC ADO is scheduled on 19th July and 25th July and many candidates have been asking for the pattern and what is going to be in the examination. As most of the candidates have also focused on SBI PO Prelims and now they are going to look forward to LIC ADO that is just a few weeks away. Below is the pattern that has been released by the LIC.

The above configuration of the of the questions is a bit different from what we used to get in banking and insurance exam. The reasoning, quantitative ability, GK/Current Affairs and English each have 25 questions and the Paper III i.e Insurance and Financial Marketing Awareness has 50 questions.

Now let's talk about section wise :

Reasoning Ability :

As there are 25 questions in this section then you can prepare for Syllogism, Puzzle/Seating Arrangement, Inequalities and you can also expect some Analytical Reasoning Questions. This section will be like banking but with lesser questions.

Numerical Ability :

This section will be a combination of both DI and Quantitative Aptitude. DI can be expected of moderate level and the rest of the questions can be from Ratio Proportion, Percentage, Profit and Loss, Average, Time and Work(Pipes and Cistern), Time and Distance, Boats and Stream. And keep practicing the questions till the time you cover all the types.

General Knowledge and Current Affairs :

This section can play an important role as there are 25 questions and you can easily attempt approximately 15 questions. You can easily study it from our website and hindu review that we post.

English :
English will be as usual and you dont need to study anything extra. You can expect questions from Reading Comprehension, Cloze Test, Error Corrections, Fillers/Phrase Replacement. And if you are lagging behind anywhere.

Insurance and Financial Marketing Awareness :
This will be the most important section of the whole exam as it contains 50 questions and will decide the fate of the candidate.
