SBI released the notification for the recruitment of Medical Officer (BMO-II). SBI had released this notification on 21 May 2019 but that time only applicants who had Registration with Medical Council of India were applicable. Again on 27 August 2019, SBI invited the application with the change in the eligibility criteria, Now the applicants who have the registration with the medical council of India or State Medical Council can apply for this post. The candidates who have already applied for this post on dated 21.05.2019 need not apply again and their candidature will be considered for the process. Educational Qualification/ Experience
a) Those having MBBS Degree: Minimum 5 Years’ Experience as a General Practitioner reckoned as on date of eligibility (31.03.2019) from the date of registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) {National Medical Commission (NMC)} or State Medical Council. (Experience gained during the internship will not be counted for eligibility)
b) Those having Post Graduate Degree: Minimum 3 Years’ Experience as a General Practitioner reckoned as on date of eligibility (31.03.2019) from the date of registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) {National Medical Commission (NMC)} or State Medical Council. (Experience gained during the internship will not be counted for eligibility)
Role-Responsibilities of the BMOs
Role and Responsibilities of BMO to Scrutiny of medical bills of employees and pensioners, Organizing wellness camps/ talks and carrying out preventive health care measures for our employees, Attending to ailments of Officers/ Dependents/ Pensioners calling at the Bank’s Dispensary, make necessary arrangements for the admission of the Bank’s patients at impanelled hospitals, Arranging tie-ups with Hospitals and Diagnostic centers, their periodical visit, and review.

Vacancies and Fees
SBI Released 56 Vacancies for Bank Medical Officer. Vacancies are according to the circle and circles are divided into centers.
Application fees and Intimation Charges (Non-refundable) is 750/- ( Seven hundred fifty only) for General/ OBC/ EWS candidates and intimation charges of
125/- ( One hundred twenty-five only) for SC/ ST/ PWD candidates.

Selection Process
The Selection for BMO in SBI is through Shortlisting and Interview.
fulfilling minimum qualification and experience and shortlisting parameters an adequate number of candidates, as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted and called for an interview. The decision of the bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this. The merit list for selection will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in the interview only. In case more than one candidate scores the cut-off marks (common marks at cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in the merit.
