HAUGHTY(adjective) : घमंडी 
Meaning: having a feeling of superiority that shows itself in an overbearing attitude
Synonyms: cavalier, pompous
Antonyms: modest, humble
Usage: They were displeased with her haughty airs.

GRISLY (Adjective) : भयानक
Meaning: causing horror or disgust.
Synonyms: gruesome, ghastly, frightful, horrid,
Antonyms: pleasant, attractive
Usage: Many massacres in history fade while some linger as grisly curiosities.

SPLURGE (verb)  : शेख़ी, दिखावा करना 
Meaning: to spend extravagantly or ostentatiously.
Synonyms: squander, fling, dissipate, disburse.
Antonyms: accumulate, hoard, conserve, preserve.
Usage: I feel like splurging on a new dress.

 NIMBLY (Adjective) : दक्षतापूर्वक 
Meaning: having or showing quickness of mind
Synonym: alert, brainy, bright, brilliant, clever
Antonym:  dim-witted, doltish, dopey (also dopy), dorky [slang], dull,

Usage: Her nimble fingers make knitting look so easy


INVIGORATE (Verb) : सबल बनाना 
Meaning: to give life, vigor, or spirit to
Synonym: amp (up), animate, brace, energize, enliven, fillip, fire
Antonym: damp, dampen, deaden, dull, kill
Usage: The fresh air and sunshine invigorated the children after a long winter indoors.

COY(Adjective) : विनीत 
Meaning: intentionally keeping something secret
Synonyms: bashful, timid
Antonyms: forward, unshy
Usage: She gave me a coy look from under her schoolgirl's fringe.

DERISIVE(adjective) : व्यंग्यात्मक
Meaning: mocking and ridiculing
Synonyms: cheeky, scornful
Antonyms: polite, respectful
Usage: The bully let out a derisive laugh when mocking his classmate’s nerdy glasses.

COGNIZANCE(noun) : संज्ञान 
Meaning: To take notice of and consider something, especially when judging
Synonyms: Awareness, Familiarity
Antonyms: Unfamiliar, Ignorance
Usage: The lawyer asked the jury to take cognizance of the defendant's generosity in giving to charity.

AGGRIEVE(adjective) : पीड़ा देना
Meaning: To make someone unhappy and angry
Synonyms: Offend, Hurt
Antonyms: Please, Praise
Usage:  They were aggrieved by the continued chiefly control over land.
