☛ Will there be an interview after the written result?

For Officers Scale I, II and III - November 2019.
NOTE: There is No Interview for Office Assistants.

☛ Will the exam be conducted online or offline (OMR Based)?

Common Written Exam for RRB is being conducted by IBPS in online mode for both Prelims and Mains exams.

☛ What is the age criteria to apply for this common written exam?

For Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager): Above 21 years - Below 40 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1979 and later than 31.05.1998 (both dates inclusive).
For Officer Scale-II (Manager): Above 21 years - Below 32 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1987 and later than 31.05.1998 (both dates inclusive).
For Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager): Above 18 years - Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1989 and later than 31.05.2001 (both dates inclusive).
For Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should have not been born earlier than 02.06.1991 and later than 01.06.2001 (both dates inclusive).

Preference will be given to the candidates having a degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy	Two years as an officer in a Bank or Financial Institution.
Officer Scale-II Specialist Officers (Manager)	Information Technology Officer Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in Electronics / Communication / Computer Science / Information Technology or it's equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. Desirable: Certificate in ASP, PHP, C++, Java, VB, VC, OCP, etc	One year (in the relevant field)
	Chartered Accountant Certified Associate (CA) from Institute of Chartered Accountants of India	One Year as a Chartered Accountant.
	Law Officer Degree from a recognized University in Law or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate	Two years as an advocate or should have worked as Law Officer in Banks or Financial Institutions for a period of not less than two years

☛ I have given my final year graduation exams but the result has not been declared yet. Can I apply?

All the educational qualifications mentioned should be from a University/ Institution/ Board recognized by Govt. Of India/ approved by Govt. Regulatory Bodies and the result should have been declared on or before 04.07.2019.

☛ What is the Application Fee?

Officer (Scale I, II & III)
Rs.100/- for SC/ST/PWBD candidates.
Rs.600/- for all others.

☛ I have scored 55% in Graduation. Am I eligible to sit for the exam?

Yes, you can apply as there is no percentage criterion. You just need to be a graduate.

☛ Is the exam Bilingual?
The tests except for the Test of English Language/Hindi Language in Mains exam all others will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.

☛ Is there a sectional cut-off in the exam?
Yes, there is a sectional cut-off in the exam. You have to clear every section.

☛ I have cleared the overall cutoff of the exam. However, I could not clear the cutoff for the general awareness section. Am I still eligible?
Unfortunately, you are not eligible to move to the interview stage. You must clear the cutoff for each section individually and the overall cutoff as well.

☛ Is there a criterion for negative marking?
There is a negative marking of ¼ marks for every wrong answer.

☛ Should I be careful while selecting the region?
Yes, as you should be proficient in that region's regional language and you might have to undergo a language proficiency test in the selection procedure.
