1. Regale (Verb)  प्रसन्न करना
Meaning: entertain or amuse (someone) with talk.
Synonym: entertain, amuse, divert, delight, fascinate
Antonym: anger, annoy, bore, dull, tired, upset

Usage: On the ghost tour, an experienced guide will regale you with scary stories of the house’s past residents.

2. Abdicate (Verb) त्यागना
Meaning: (of a monarch) renounce one's throne.
Synonyms: resign, retire
Usage: Because the mother chose to abdicate her role as a parent, her children have become the terrors of the neighborhood.

3.INCENSE (Verb) क्रोध से कुद्ध करना
Meaning: make very angry.
Synonyms: enrage, infuriate, anger, madden
Antonyms: placate, please, calm
Usage: News of the salary reduction is sure to incense the workers.

4.HIATUS (Noun)  एक ठहराव
Meaning: a pause or break in continuity in a sequence or activity.
Synonyms: pause, break, interval, interruption, suspension
Antonyms: closure, juncture, misfortune
Usage: The professor will take his family on a long vacation during his hiatus.

5.EMBELLISH (verb) संवारना
Meaning: to make something sound or look better or more acceptable than it is in reality
Synonyms: adorn, deck
Antonyms: lessen, reduce
Usage: Grandma likes to embellish her knitting by hiding secret messages in the pattern.

6.AMNESTY(Noun)आम माफ़ी
Meaning: a formal pardon or reprieve given to one who has committed a criminal or political offense
Synonyms: forgiveness, immunity
Antonyms: vulnerability
Usage: Although the governor claimed to be an honest man of the people, he did not hesitate to give his wealthy friend amnesty for a tax-related crime.

7.RIPOSTE (noun) जवाबी प्रहार
Meaning: a quick, clever reply to an insult or criticism.
Synonyms: retaliation, repartee, squelch, quip.
Antonyms: request, query, bidding, catechize.
Usage: A riposte to that argument was provided by Sea Containers, the shipping group headed by James Sherwood.


8. FARRAGO (noun)  संमिश्रण
Meaning: a confused mixture.
Synonyms: mishmash, jumble, hodgepodge, turmoil.
Antonyms: constituent, ravel, sequence, categorization.
Usage: The present gun law is a farrago of nonsense as most of it is unenforceable.

9.ENNUI (noun) विरक्ति
Meaning: a feeling of listlessness and dissatisfaction arising from a lack of occupation or excitement.
Synonym: boredom, tedium, listlessness.
Antonym: animation, contentment.
Usage: Listening to your dull story about becoming a librarian is leaving me in a state of ennui.

10.BAGATELLE (noun) नगण्य
Meaning: a thing regarded as too unimportant or easy to be worth much consideration.
Synonyms: trifle, frippery, Picayune, gimcrack.
Antonyms: worth, gargantuan.
Usage: The question of who will pick up the coffee is a mere bagatelle in the overall planning of the conference.
