1. PROMPT (adjective) शीघ्र
Meaning: done, performed, delivered, etc., at once or without delay.
अर्थ: एक बार में या देरी के बिना किया गया, किया गया, वितरित किया गया, आदि।
Synonyms: urge, spur, instigate, impel.
Antonyms: delayed, late, later, slow, sluggish
Usage: There is cautious optimism that this prompt action may have helped avert a broader outbreak.

2. ALACRITY (noun) तत्परता
Meaning: cheerful readiness, promptness, or willingness.
अर्थ: हंसमुख तत्परता, तत्परता, या इच्छा |
Synonyms: alertness, avidity, briskness, cheerfulness, dispatch, eagerness
Antonyms: apathy, coolness, discouragement, indifference
Usage:  His alacrity of manner and quick step justified this opinion.

3. ENDORSE (verb) समर्थन
Meaning: to approve, support, or sustain
अर्थ: अनुमोदन, समर्थन, या बनाए रखने के लिए|
Synonyms: advocate, affirm, approve, back, commend, confirm, defend, favor.
Antonyms: attack, censure, criticize, deny, disagree
Usage: In some cases, public employee unions even pushed private sector unions to endorse Republicans.

4. PATRONAGE (noun) संरक्षण
Meaning: a condescending manner or attitude in granting favors, in dealing with people.
अर्थ: लोगों के साथ व्यवहार में, एहसान देने में एक कृपालु तरीका या रवैया।
Synonyms: aegis, auspices, backing, encouragement, financing.
Antonyms: attack, blockage, disapproval, discouragement, harm.
Usage: There were hundreds of other things in the great city, but they had their share of patronage.

5. MACHINATIONS (noun) साजिश
Meaning: crafty schemes; plots; intrigues.
अर्थ: चालाक योजनाओं; भूखंडों; साज़िश।
Synonyms: conspiracy, intrigue, ploy, ruse, stratagem
Antonyms: frankness, honesty, ignorance
Usage: The con artist’s victims quickly fell for his easy money machination.

6. ATROCITIES (noun) अत्याचारों
Meaning: the quality or state of being extremely or shockingly wicked, cruel, or brutal.
अर्थ: अत्यंत दुष्ट या क्रूर, क्रूर या क्रूर होने की गुणवत्ता या अवस्था।
Synonyms: barbarity, horror
Antonyms: good behavior, kindness, pleasantness
Usage: In the popular drama of Punch, we observe a perfect climax of atrocities and horrors.

7. IMPUNITY (noun) दण्ड मुक्ति
Meaning: exemption from punishment.
अर्थ: सजा से छूट
Synonyms: immunity, dispensation, exception, exemption.
Antonyms: denial, prohibition, veto, imprisonment, incarceration
Usage: My work may be of none, but I must not think it of any, or I shall not do it with impunity.

8. DEFIANT (adjective) उद्दंड
Meaning: characterized by defiance; boldly resistant or challenging:
अर्थ: अवज्ञा द्वारा विशेषता; साहसपूर्वक प्रतिरोधी या चुनौतीपूर्ण|
Synonyms: aggressive, audacious, bold, challenging, contumacious, daring
Antonyms: acquiescent, obedient, respectful, submissive
Usage: Maya nodded and went out, shutting the door with a defiant swing.

9.SOLIDARITY (noun) एकजुटता
Meaning: union or fellowship arising from common responsibilities and interests, between classes, peoples, etc.
अर्थ: वर्गों, लोगों, आदि के बीच सामान्य जिम्मेदारियों और हितों से उत्पन्न संघ या फैलोशिप।
Synonyms: agreement, consensus, harmony, support, teamwork
Antonyms: disagreement, antagonism, discord.
Usage: No solidarity of advancement exists in the species as a whole.

10. EGALITARIAN  (noun) समानाधिकारवादी
Meaning: a person who adheres to equality beliefs.
अर्थ: एक व्यक्ति जो समानता मान्यताओं का पालन करता है।
Synonyms: democratic, equitable, even-handed.
Antonyms: elitist.
Usage: Indians pride themselves on an egalitarian society open to all.
