Job Profile:
It’s five days working job and one can easily manage to uphold good work and life balance at NABARD. The work gravity for the post is low compared to PSBs and significantly depends on the magnitude of the operations of a branch. With fixed office timings i.e. 09:30 hours to 17:30 hours, it’s the visionary job. You may have to work overtime sometimes if some emergency work situations arise. Along with that one gets an opportunity to support the society as the work renders into social service.

Salary of NABARD Grade A (Assistant Manager):
Nominated candidates will draw an initial basic pay of Rs.28150/- p.m. in the scale of 28150-1550(4)-34350-1750(7)–46600–EB-1750(4)-53600-2000(1)-55600 related to Officers in Grade 'A' and they will be entitled to Dearness Allowance, Local Compensatory Allowance, House Rent Allowance, and Grade Allowance as per guidelines from time to time. Initial monthly gross emoluments are approximately Rs. 60,000/-.

Promotion Prospects:
These are applicable only after undergoing departmental exams and interviews. But as the job is a managerial post further promotion bring in considerable stature and pay hike. The hierarchy of posts right from the post of Assistant Manager is as follows -
