Graduated in 2018
Started preparing for banking exam from 16th Sept, 2018. After passing out from engineering college, I already had two good offers (software jobs) in my hand, but I always slept with a dream to have a government job. So, I thought I should go for SSC CGL. But due to the delaying process and flinching nature of the same, I changed my mind towards banking. But being new to banking field and also having just 1 month for preparation of IBPS PO prelims, I did not know how and from where to begin.
Then on youtube, I found Radhey sir and Sumit sir and I just started following them. My first ever banking exam was IBPS PO Prelims 2018. I qualified with very good marks. But since I was new to banking sector, I was unaware of the PO Mains level. I drastically failed in IBPS PO Mains, not even clearing sectional cut off in Quants. After giving mains, I was completely disheartened but I was determined not to give up so early. I figured out my weak areas and joined "Target puzzle" live batch of Radhey Sir, and started following him. Next exam was IBPS clerk prelims, I qualified with very good marks (80.25/100). Then next was Canara Bank PO PGDBF. Due to my silly mistakes, I ruined this exam and scored only 123 (cut off was 130). Then after regularly practicing and studying GA on daily basis, I finally appeared for IBPS Clerk Mains on 20th Jan.
On 1st April 2019, finally I got selected. I have secured 115.25 marks. Roll number - 1401000542. And the bank allotted to me is UCO Bank. I want to give all credit to my parents who supported my decision of not joining private sector, and specially my Adda 247 faculties for guiding me so well. Always remember “Failure cannot disturb you till you have desire to succeed”. Thank you.
You've become an achiever from an aspirant, its time you pass on your knowledge and help other aspirants by guiding them with how your journey was? What helped you? What you believe in? How Adda247 and bankersadda helped you??
