CTET July 2019 Application Last Date Extended; Details Here

The Central Board of Secondary Education or CBSE has extended the last of CTET July 2019 application date. According to a statement available on the official website, now the CTET July 2019 applications can be submitted till March 12. According to the earlier schedule last date to submit the online application for the 12th edition of Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) was March 5, i.e. today. The Board will now accept the fees till March 15. CTET 2019 applications will be accepted at ctet.nic.in.


The eligibility test which is being held to determines a candidate's eligibility for appointment as teachers to primary and upper primary classes. CTET is conducted on national level and its scores are accepted for shortlisting candidates for recruitment exams.

"The last date of submitting online application form for CTET July 2019 is 12-03-2019 upto 5:00 P.M.," said the official notification posted on the CTET July 2019 website.

"The last date of payment of fee for CTET July 2019 is 15-03-2019 upto 3:30 P.M.," said another statement.

Before this, CBSE had held CTET in December last year in which more than 18 lakh candidates had appeared. A total of 1,78,273 candidates qualified in the primary classes category which is only 17% of the total number of candidates who appeared in this category. 10,73,545 candidates had appeared in the Primary category.

CTET 2019 revised examination schedule

Last date for submission of online application through CTET website www.ctet.nic.in: March 12, 2019 upto 17.00 hrs

Last Date for submission of fee through E-Challan or Debit/Credit Card: March 15, 2019 (Friday) before 03.30 p.m.

Final verification of payment of fee by the candidates: March 19, 2019 (Tuesday)

Online corrections if any, in the particulars uploaded by the candidate: From March 25, 2019 (Monday) to April 1, 2019 (Monday) (No corrections shall be allowed under any circumstances after this date)

Date of examination: July 7, 2019 (Sunday)

CTET 2019: How to apply

Follow these steps to apply for CTET 2019 July edition:

Step One : Log on to CTET official website www.ctet.nic.in.

Step Two : Go to the link "Apply Online" and open the same.

Step Three : Fill in the Online Application Form and note down Registration No./Application No.

Step Four : Upload Scanned Images of latest Photograph and Signature

Step Five : Pay Examination Fee by e-challan or debit/credit card

Step Six : Print Confirmation page for record and future reference.
