1. SAGE (adjective) बुद्धिमान
Meaning: profoundly wise.
Synonyms: sagacious, erudite, discerning, judicious.
Antonyms: dumb,  imbecile,  moronic, slow-witted.
Usage: A sage suggestion that they think long and hard before deciding to marry at such a young age.

2. PRATTLE (verb) बकबक करना
Meaning:  talk at length in a foolish or inconsequential way.
Synonyms: chatter, babble, prate,  ramble.
Antonyms: quiet, silence, enunciate, articulate.
Usage: To make others envious, Reena likes to prattle on about her great job.

3. UNENVIABLE (adjective) अवांछनीय
Meaning: difficult, undesirable, or unpleasant.
Synonyms: disagreeable,  odious, inapt, unwanted.
Antonyms: desirable, enviable, alluring, apposite.
Usage: They already have the unenviable task of supervising some of the most dangerous prisoners in the country.

4. SCUPPER (verb) तबाह करना
Meaning: prevent from working or succeeding; thwart.
Synonyms: ruin, wreck, destroy, devastate.
Antonyms: guard, shelter, shield, swathe.
Usage: The latest information could scupper the peace talks.

5. TROVE (noun) कोष
Meaning: a store of valuable or delightful things.
Synonyms: accumulation, agglomeration, backlog, conglomeration.
Antonyms:  junk, dispersion, reduction, shrinkage.
Usage: I discovered a trove of candy bars and pop tarts in my teen son's pillow case.

6. WOEBEGONE (adjective)  उदास
Meaning: sad or miserable in appearance.
Synonyms: dejected, forlorn, crestfallen, abject.
Antonyms: blissful, buoyant, cheerful, delighted.
Usage: The mother could tell that her son was woebegone when she told him that he was grounded.

7. MYSTIQUE (noun)  रहस्यपूर्ण
Meaning: a quality of mystery, glamour, or power associated with someone or something.
Synonyms:  charisma, mystery, fascination, aura.
Antonyms: plainness, limpidity, perspicuity, lucidity.
Usage: The detective was captivated by the suspect’s mystique.

8. PALLIATE (verb)  कम करना
Meaning: make (a disease or its symptoms) less severe without removing the cause.
Synonyms: alleviate, relieve, soothe, assuage.
Antonyms: heighten, intensify, aggravate, exacerbate.
Usage: This medicine should palliate your cough at least a little.

9. Plenary (adjective)  परिपूर्ण
Meaning: unqualified; absolute.
Synonyms: unconditional, unlimited, unrestricted, comprehensive.
Antonyms: abbreviated, abridged, diminished, reduced.
Usage: The delegation to the international convention was given plenary authority to negotiate a treaty in the nation's best interest.

10. REPINE (verb)  विलाप करना
Meaning: feel or express discontent; fret.
Synonyms: mope, languish, despondent, lament.
Antonyms: complacent, fulfilled, rejoice, contented.
Usage: The soldiers repine for their families when they are stationed overseas.
