Meaning:special advantage or power

5.COUNTERACT
Meaning:to work in opposition to
Synonyms:halt, negate
Antonyms:allow, aid
Example:This ingredient seems to counteract the other ones.

6.DEVISE
Meaning:to come up with
Synonyms:formulate, plan
Antonyms:destroy, ruin
Example:Lana devised a plan to make herself famous.

7.ENDOW 
Meaning:to equip
Synonyms:enable, empower
Antonyms:reduce, refuse
Example:According to the myth, the gods endowed him with the gift of healing

8.FOMENT
Meaning:to stir up
Synonyms:arouse, incite
Antonyms:calm, conclude
Example:The civilians accused their leader of fomenting political unrest.

9.OUST 
Meaning:to remove
Synonyms:eject, evict
Antonyms:give, allow
Example:Sick and tired of putting up with his bad moods, the pirates ousted their captain.

10.QUIRK
Meaning:a strange habit
Synonyms:irregularity, trait
Antonyms:normality

Example:His biggest quirk is his love for old marbles.
