A S Rajeev has been appointed as the new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (MD & CEO) of state-owned Bank of Maharashtra (BoM). He has replaced Ravindra Marathe, who was accused of extending around Rs. 30 billion fraudulent loans to Pune-based DSK Group. He is currently working as the Executive Director of Indian Bank from 22nd January 2016. He is a mathematics graduate with professional qualifications of FCA, MBA, DISA and CAIIB.
