LIC HFL Assistant Manager Interview Experience

Name - Abhishek Srivastava
Qualifications - B.tech (M.E)
Date - 12th November 2018
Time - 9:00 a.m.
Venue - LIC HFL Regional Office, Lucknow
Reached the location on time.  Biometric followed by Document Verification, everything went smoothly! There was total of 18 candidates in the morning slot, I was the first one to be interviewed. I entered the room with a gentle smile and sought permission and thanked!

Total members - 3 (2 Female, 1 Male)

F1: Introduce yourself.
Me: Introduced.

F2: Tell us about your education and family background.
Me: I am an Engineering graduate. Told the profession of my father, mother, and elder brother.

M1: What you did after graduation?
Me: I got campus placement and worked for 1 year and later resigned. Since then, I have been preparing for competitive exams.

F2: Is this your first interview? What are the other exams you gave recently?
Me: I appeared in the IBPS PO 2017 interview and felt short by few marks from final selection. Recently I appeared in various banking exams and cleared most of the prelims.

F1: What does LIC HFL do?
Me: Told whatever I read on Wikipedia i.e its major stakeholder, its subsidiaries etc.

F2: Can you expand CBDT? Who is the chairman?
Me: Central Board of Direct Taxes. I am sorry ma'am  I am not able to recall the name of the present chairman.

M1: Do you have any computer Knowledge?
Me: Yes sir I studied Computer as a subject in class 12th Moreover I have done course on Computer Concepts by NIELIT.

F2: Give me 3 good reasons why you chose LIC HFL?
Me: Since I have been preparing for Banking Exams so I was quite sure of cracking the written exam of LIC HFL since its syllabus is similar to Banking exams. It is a well-renowned company with LIC as its promoter. It has a very good work culture with the humongous customer base.

F2: Recently, India was ranked 77 in which index? Who published it?
Me: India jumped from 100th place to 77th in " Ease of Doing Business" Report by the World Bank.

F2: Are you ready to relocate?
Me: Yes of course. I would be glad to be a part of such a reputed company.

F1: Thank you Abhishek, we are done with you, you may leave.
Me: Thank you, have a nice day!!
