Dear Students, all that one needs to do to ace the grades in the Quantitative Section of banking exams is regular practice mixed with an integrated strategy to attempt maximum questions with a high accuracy. The level of every other section is only getting complex and convoluted, there is no doubt that this section too will be making your blood run cold. But one should not forget that a mix of accuracy and a good number of attempts can definitely turn the situation round in Quantitative Aptitude Section. Here is the strategy to score good marks in Quantitative Aptitude Section of the upcoming bank exams.
You should always choose to attempt the questions on Quadratic Equations/ Inequalities (Quantity 1, Quantity 2), Simplification/ Data Sufficiency/ Approximation, and Number Series first. If we carefully observe the pattern of previously held banking examinations, the number of questions on the topics like Number Series, Quadratic Equations, Simplification, Approximation, and others lies somewhere between 5-10.
If we talk about this year's SBI PO and RRB PO Examinations, questions based on Data Sufficiency and Quantity 1 and Quantity 2 too were asked. So, keep in mind that questions based on these topics can be asked in the preliminary exams as well. This took everyone by surprise as these questions were never seen in any Preliminary level examination previously. After having attempted all these questions efficiently, go for Data Interpretation/ Caselet. Depending on different examinations, we can expect 10-15 questions on Data Interpretations. Caselet can also be asked (both in Prelims and Mains Examinations). Attempt questions based on Arithmetic in the end. Out of the total number of questions from the arithmetic portion, at least 60% are doable, it all depends on the speed with which a candidate is able to attempt the exam.
