Chattisgarh Sub-Inspector Recruitment 2018: 655 Vacancies

Chattisgarh Police has released the recruitment notification for Subedar, Sub-Inspector cadre & Platoon Commander. Candidates can check eligibility criteria, exam pattern, selection process in this article. But only Chattisgarh candidates can apply for this recruitment.

  • Sub-Inspector -> 381
  • Sub-Inspector (Special Branch) -> 37
  • Platoon Commander (Only for male) -> 184
  • Sub-Inspector (Fingerprint) -> 08
  • Sub-Inspector (Q.D.) -> 02
  • Sub-Inspector (Computer) -> 11
  • Sub-Inspector (Radio) -> 07
Pay Scale: Pay Matrix Level-8, Rs.35,400/-

Age Limit
  • Minimum Age: 18 years
  • Maximum Age: 28 years
Age will be calculated as on 1st January 2018.

Application Fees:
  • General/ OBC : Rs. 400/-
  • SC/ST : Rs. 200/-
Educational Qualification:
For Subedar, Sub-Inspector, Sub-Inspector (Special Branch) & Platoon Commander (Only for male)
Candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.

For Sub-Inspector (Fingerprint) & Sub-Inspector (Q.D.)
Candidate must have Bachelor’s Degree in mathematics, Physics & Chemistry discipline from a recognized University or equivalent.

For Sub-Inspector (Computer)
Candidate must have done BCA/ B.Sc. (Computer) from a recognized University or equivalent.

For Sub-Inspector (Radio)
Candidate must have Electrical/ Electronics/ Telecommunication Engineering diploma or degree from a recognized University or equivalent.

Selection Process:
First Stage -> Document Verification, Physical Standard Test & Physical Efficiency 
Second Stage -> Written Examination

Pattern Of Written Examination:
Efficincy in English & Hindi and Aptitude Test
  • Hindi & English : 60 Marks
  • Apptitude Test : 40 Marks
  • Duration: 2 hours
General Knowledge & Awareness:
  • Total Marks: 100 Marks
  • Duration : 3 hours
Science (Physics, Biology & Chemistry)
  • Total Marks: 100 Marks
  • Duration : 2 hours
Only for Sub-Inspector (Fingerprint), Sub-Inspector (Q.D.) & Sub-Inspector (Radio)

Computer Knowledge
  • Total Marks: 100 Marks
  • Duration : 2 hours
Only for Sub-Inspector (Computer)
