Asian Games 2018: Day 8

This year's Asian Games, also known as Jakarta Palembang 2018, has started from 18th August to 02nd September in the Indonesian cities of Jakarta and Palembang. It is the second time when Jakarta is hosting the sports games after 1962. Here are the medals won by India in different events day wise.

1. 18-year-old Hima Das won Silver medal in 400-meter race.

2. Muhammed Anas won Silver medal in Men's 400m race.

3. Dutee Chand also bagged silver medal in women's 100 meter race. 

4. Fouaad Mirza won Individual silver medal in the equestrian event.

5. In equestrian team event, Rakesh Kumar, Ashish Malik, Jitender Singh and Fouaad Mirza claimed the silver.

Total Medals Won By India Till 8th Day:
1. 7 Gold,
2. 10 Silver,
3. 19 Bronze.
