SSC has released SSC GD Constable 2018 Notification 2018 on 21st July 2018 in employment news paper. Online Application Form for SSC GD 2018 Exam will start from 21st July 2018 on the Official website of SSC . Candidates will be selected to multiple posts as Constables in BSF, CISF, CRPF etc. SSC GD 2018 will be conducted to recruit eligible candidates to the post of General Duty.
The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination. The date of examination is not mentioned in the official notification it is to be notified later.

4. Medical Examination
Candidates will be shortlisted for Detailed Medical Examination (DME) from the candidates who qualify PET/PST.
The selected candidates will be medically examined by the Medical Boards constituted by the CAPFs to assess their physical and medical fitness as prescribed in the official notification.
Eye sight:
The minimum distant vision should be 6/6 and 6/9 of two eyes without correction i.e. without wearing of glasses.
➡The candidate must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein or squint in eyes and they should possess high colour vision.
☛ What is the age criteria to apply in this common written exam?
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 23 years
The crucial date of age-limit will be calculated with reference to 01-08-2018.
The candidates must have passed 10th class or equivalent from a recognized board.
☛ What is the application Fee?
- Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 100/-
- Last date for submission of applications:20th August, 2018 (up to 5PM)
- Fee can be paid through SBI Challan/ SBI Net banking or through credit/ debit cards of any bank.
- Candidates who wish to make the payment through challan of SBI, may make the payment to designated branches of SBI within the working hours of bank upto 23-08-2018
☛ Is there a criterion for negative marking?
There is negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
