➤ Mumbai to have India’s 1st Artificial Intelligence Centre

i. In a first in the country, the Maharashtra government will be setting up an institute for artificial intelligence (AI) in Mumbai.

➤ Delhi Government to Launch 'Mission Buniyaad' To Fix Learning Crisis In Delhi Schools

i. The Delhi government announced the launch of "Mission Buniyaad" for improving learning skills of children studying in state and municipal-run schools. The announcement was made by Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia.
ii. Under the programme which will run from April to June for Class 3 to 5 in Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) schools and for Class 6 to 8 in government's schools, children will undergo a reading level assessment based on which they will be enrolled in specialised "Mission Buniyaad" classes.

➤ Avani Chaturvedi Becomes 1st Indian Woman to Fly Fighter Aircraft Solo

i. Flying officer Avani Chaturvedi scripted history by becoming the first  Indian woman to fly a fighter aircraft solo.
ii. She flew a MiG-21 bison in her first solo flight from Jamnagar base of Indian Air Force (IAF) in Gujarat.
  • Air Chief Marshal Birender Singh Dhanoa is the 25th Chief of the Air Staff of the Indian Air Force.
➤ Aruna Budda Reddy Becomes 1st Indian to Win Individual Medal at Gymnastics World Cup

i. Aruna Budda Reddy has created history by becoming the first Indian to win an individual medal at the Gymnastics World Cup in Melbourne, Australia. She clinched a Bronze medal in the Women’s Vault.
ii. Aruna, who hails from Hyderabad, scored 13.649 average points to finish third and claim the bronze medal at the Hisense Arena. Tjasa Kysslef of Slovenia took home the Gold, while Emily Whitehead of Australia won the Silver.
