- Inflation - an economic process in which prices increase so that money becomes less valuable
- Projection - a calculation of the way that something will change and develop in the future
- Belie - to seem to show that a promise, hope, statement etc is not true
- Household - the people who live in a house or flat when they are considered as a single unit
- Predictably - in a way that can be as expected
- Remit - a particular area of work that someone is responsible for
- Durable - able to last a long time without becoming damaged
- Scrutinise - to examine something very carefully
- Bimonthly - happening or produced twice a month or every two months
- End up - to be in a particular place or state after doing something or because of doing it
- Outlook - an idea about what a situation will be like in the future
- Assessment - the process of making a judgment or forming an opinion, after considering something or someone carefully
- Variance - differences between two or more similar things
- Forecast - a statement about what is likely to happen, based on available information and usually relating to the weather, business, or the economy
- Substantially - by a large amount or degree
- Significant - very large or noticeable
- Moderation - a reduction in the amount or strength of something
- Trajectory - the way in which a process or event develops over a period of time
- Assertion - a definite statement or claim that something is true
- Despite - used for saying that something happens even though something else might have prevented it
- Forecaster - someone whose job is to make a statement about what is likely to happen, especially relating to the weather
- Temporally - with regard to time
- Deficient - lacking the correct amount of something
- Gloss over - to ignore or avoid unpleasant facts
- Feedback - comments about how well or how badly someone is doing something, which are intended to help them do it better
- Volatility - liability to change rapidly and unpredictably, especially for the worse
- Play down - to try to make a problem or difficult situation seem less important than it is
- Jettison - to get rid of something that is not useful or successful
- Implicit - without any doubts or questions
- Consistent - continuing or developing steadily in the same way

- Retain - to keep or continue to have something
- Reboot - to start something again or do something again, in a way that is new and interesting:
- Resounding - complete: used for emphasizing how successful or unsuccessful someone or something is
- Bickering - to argue about things that are not important
- Reassess - to think again about something in order to decide if you should change the way you feel about it or deal with it
- Prevailing - existing at a particular time or in a particular place
- Uncertainty - a nervous feeling that you have because you think bad things might happen
- Rival - a person, team, or business that competes with another
- Backing - supporting
- Supremacy - a situation in which one person, group, or thing has more power or influence than any other
- Unravel - begins to fail
- Debacle - something that fails completely in an embarrassing way
- Scandal - a situation in which important people behave in a dishonest or immoral way that shocks people
- Outbreak - the sudden start of war, disease, violence etc
- Loyalist - someone who supports their government, especially during a revolution
- Sectarian - caused by disagreements among people from different religious groups
- Obvious - clear to almost anyone
- Abandon - sto leave someone when you should stay with them and look after them
- Tussle - a short fight
- Hostility - opposition to something
- Tilt the scales - if something tilts the scales, it is the thing that causes a particular situation to happen or a particular decision to be made when other situations or decisions are possible
- Ouster - the removal of someone from an official position
- Dominance - a situation in which one person or thing has more influence or power than any other
- Deter - to make someone decide not to do something
- Bandwagon - an idea or activity, especially in politics or business, that suddenly becomes very popular or fashionable, so that a lot of people want to be involved in it
- Expedite - to make something happen quickly or easily
- Accountability - a situation in which people know who is responsible for something and can ask them to explain its state or quality
- Reconciliation - a new and friendly relationship with someone who you argued with or fought with
- Reform - a change that is intended to correct a situation that is wrong or unfair, or make a system work more effectively
