"Never stop trying Never stop believing Never give up Your day will come". Sree Lakshmi (IBPS PO, Andhra Bank)

April 9, 2018

I am Sreelakshmi from Kerala. I got selected as PO in Andhra Bank through IBPS PO 2017 examination in the first attempt. I started preparing for bank exams in the month of February 2017. Earlier I had been working as a lecturer in an engineering college in biotechnology department. Being from Biotech, it was not a cake walk for me to clear Aptitude cut-off. I could not clear prelims of SBI PO 2017 and RBI grade-B 2017. With 2 exams failing miserably, I was wondering what exactly was I lacking in my preparation.

I had kept myself away from all social activities and networking sites and was putting 100% efforts in my preparation. Soon, I realized I had mixed all the ingredients reqd for success in right proportion except confidence. Folks, the most important Funda for success is to prepare yourself mentally to taste the sweetness of success that is- Trust Yourself, Trust God. When I cleared IBPS PO prelims, I was skeptical about my skills required to clear mains as I have never prepared for mains before.

I decided to put my heart and soul into it as it my chance to excel. I reduced my sleeping hours and focussed more on attempting max online mock papers per day and also ensured that I did complete analysis of each and every paper I gave. I practiced test series ofADDA247. General Awareness: ADDA daily updates, Bankersadda capsules and of course I used to go through "The Hindu "newspaper.I managed to clear mains general cutoff with a very less margin but my performance in interview kept my hopes alive. Finally, when the results were out, with the grace of almighty I was in with 47.56 marks.

Friends, it's not easy to clear IBPS/SBI/IBPS RRB PO in the first attempt but it's not impossible. with complete dedication and positivity, anything is possible. Keep practicing and keep yourself away from all distractions and focus only on your target. Rest God will take care of.

"Never stop trying
Never stop believing
Never give up
Your day will come"

All the Best wishes,
