Dear Students, Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL) has released  recruitment notification for candidates who have the domicile of the states of Maharashtra, Goa and Karnataka or Land loser candidates i.e. those candidates whose land has been acquired for Konkan Railway project. In this article you will get to know eligibility criteria, exam pattern etc.

Educational Qualification:

Post Name
Station Master	Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University.
Goods Guard	Graduation in any Discipline from a recognised University
Senior Clerk	Graduationin any discipline from a recognised University.,* Candidates having degree of BBA/HR or MBA/HR will be preferred.
Accounts Assistant	B Com from a recognised University
Technician Grade III Electrical	Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Electrician/Wireman/Mechanic HT, LT Equipment’s and Cable Jointing/Electronics Mechanic (OR) Matriculation/SSLC plus CCAA in the trades mentioned above.
ESTM- Signal and Telecommunication Department	Matriculation/SSLC plus ITI from recognised institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trades of Electrician/Electronics Mechanic/Wireman (OR) Matriculation/SSLC plus CCAA in the trades mentioned above

Pay Scale:

• Station Master: Station Master-Level 06 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with other allowances as admissible under the CDA scale.
• Goods Guard: Level 05 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with other allowances as admissible under the CDA scale.
• Senior Clerk:  Level 05 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with other allowances as admissible under the CDA scale.
• Accounts Assistant:  Level 05 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with other allowances as admissible under the CDA scale.
• For Electrical-III/ Electrical: Level 02 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with other allowances as admissible under the CDA scale
• Telecom Maintainer (ESTM)-III: Level 02 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix with other allowances as admissible under the CDA scale

Age Limit:
For Station Master, Goods Guard, Account Assistant & Senior Clerk: 

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 33 years

For Electrical-III/ Electrical & Telecom Maintainer (ESTM)-III: 

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 30 years

Age Limit as on 01st July 2018 

Age Relaxation:

• SC/ST candidates: 5 Years
• OBC-Non-Creamy Layer candidates: 3 Years

Application Fees:

• General Candidates: Rs.500/-
• SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman/Female/Monorities/Economically Backward class: Rs.250/-

Note: This fee of Rs 250 shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges as applicable, on appearing CBT.

• Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks allotted for each question shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
• The CBT is of screening nature.
• Minimum qualifying marks in paper-I is 50% for general categary and 40% for SC/ST candidates.
