success-stories

Hello to everyone. I am a silent reader of the Bankersadda and Adda247 app. And today I am sharing my story. I don't know should I call it my success story because tough I am selected for IBPS Clerk I am not resting yet. So let me just share my story of first ever job.

My journey did not start when I started appearing for govt. Exams. It started back when I was choosing my career path. I was a rank holder in my class 10 boards and everyone expected same from me in my 12th too. But during exams, I was severely sick, even during one of the papers I fainted and fell in the exam hall but I completed my exam and passed my boards with 78%.

Quite naturally I couldn't get into any NITs and IITs. So I decided to prepare for one year. But missed again. Though I got into a private engineering college and completed my B.Tech in Civil Engineering. During my college I had a wonderful bunch of friends who guided me and supported me in everything. One such friend introduced me to SSC and IBPS exams. I graduated in 2016. And my 1st attempt was ssc cgl. Got just 100 marks and being a general category success was way farther. Next began Ibps season. Qualified ibps rrb po and ibps clerk prelims only. Appearing for mains for the first time I had little knowledge of stuffs and my rrb po mains had to pay the price. For ibps clerk mains I started following adda247 app and youtube videos completely. No books nothing just adda247.  And boy, I felt the difference during the exam. But I missed it by 1.25 marks.

2017 came and i kept preparing with adda247. Regularly solving daily quizzes and pdfs.
But still, i had to face hardship.
Sbi po 2017: out in pre
Ibps po 2017: out in pre by 1mark
Ibps rrb po 2017: out in pre by 0.75
Ibps rrb clerk 2017: made into reserve list.
Ibps clerk 2017:SELECTED IN CANARA BANK.
Yes, my first ever selection. A lot of hardship finally paid off.

During my ibps clerk pre exam, i had to go through a lot emotionaly in my personal life. I remember going to pre exam without sleeping the night before. But I still managed to score 80. For my mains, I took a 4days trip to clear my mind and get myself strength for appearing for mains exam. I wanna thank my friends for making it easier for me. My family and friends were my lifeline during this phase.

So the moral of the story is, keep trying until u succeed. Keep pushing yourself even when the odds are against you. Someone up there is looking over you and will reward you accordingly. This is Madhurima Saha still not signing off from adda247. Hope to share my story once again after I qualify for PO one day.
Thank you adda247.
