Assam Police Sub Inspector Recruitment 2018:

Assam Police has released recruitment notification of 130 vacancies for Sub-Inspectors (Un-Armed Branch). In this article, we are providing eligibility criteria, exam pattern, selection procedure etc.

Last Date to Apply Online: 17th May 2018 

Total Number of Vacancies: 130 Vacancies

Age Limit :

• Minimum Age: 20 years 
• Maximum Age: 24 years

Note: Age will be calculated as on 1st January of 2018 (i.e. Candidate must be born on or before 01-01-1998 and on or after 01-01-1994)

Pay Scale:
Pay scale of Rs. 14000- 49000 (Pay Band No. 2)plus Rs. 8700 Grade pay plus other allowances as admissible under the rules.

Educational Qualification:

The candidate must be a graduate in Arts, Science, Commerce or equivalent stream from a recognized College / Institutions affiliated to a recognized University.

Fee Details:
There will be no application fee.

Assam Police SI Selection Procedure:

1. Written Test : 100 marks
2. Scrutiny Of Documents (Documents Verification)
3. Physical Standard Test
4. Physical Efficiency Test : 40 marks
5. Proficiency in Computer : 30 marks
