Are You still Not Preparing for SBI Clerk 2018?

April 18, 2018

Dear Students,

With the advent of new year, SBI came up with the notification for the SBI Clerk 2018. This brought a sigh of relief for many banking aspirants. But due to some reasons, the exam got postponed by two months. Now, try to make the most of this opportunity. As the tentative date for prelims exam is June/July and for mains exam is 5 August, this is the best time to kick-start your preparations.

The competition is going to be very tough this time and if you will not start your preparations you will find it difficult to beat the competition. This year SBI has introduced sectional timings for prelims as well. Now, you need to practice more on your speed and accuracy to clear the cutoff. Firstly, cover all the topics of the syllabus and practice all types of questions. Then, start giving full-length tests to analyze your strengths and weaknesses. The best way to improve your speed and accuracy is to practice more and more papers from test series. The more you practice, the more will be your chances to get the selection.

As the mains exam is scheduled in August, you cannot think about preparing for mains after prelims. You have to start preparing for mains also from now onwards. After prelims, it will be next to impossible to cover the whole syllabus and the level of difficulty is also high. The mains exam has an additional section of General Awareness. For this section, you need to prepare all the current affairs for previous 4 months at least. So, as the exam is in August, this month of April is the best time to start with your GA as well. Read daily news and current affairs and keep revising them weekly. This section can be the most scoring if prepared well. So, gear up yourself and start practicing from now.

Keep away all your distractions, log out of all social media platforms if they distract you. Give these four months your full dedication and your hard work will pay you in the end.

To help you crack this year's SBI Clerk Prelims Examination, Adda247 brings to you a package of SBI Clerk Cracker Series that will help you ace the original examination and identify the weaknesses that you can work on.
