The urgency of jobs in our country can be understood by the fact that 1.5 crore applicants have registered until now for 26,502 vacancies for group C and 62,907 group D vacancies aggregating for 89,000 posts. In the preliminary registration of RRB application form, candidates have to provide educational qualification along with other details such as name, father’s name, date of birth, community, email ID and mobile number. The tentative date to conduct the exam is during April and May 2018.
Since the notification is out for ALP and technician vacancies, Railways has made many changes with respect to criteria, age and educational qualification, after protests by job aspirants in several states resulting in a bit relaxation to the aspirants.

Examination fee refund
RRB will be now refund a part of the fee deposited by candidates belonging to all categories – both who have applied and who are planning to apply. Rs. 400 out of the examination fee of Rs. 500 will be refunded to general category candidates and a full refund of the Rs. 250 examination fee will be provided to reserved category candidates after the candidates have appeared for the first stage CBT examination.
