"I too have an Allotment story" : Nilofar Tabassum (RRB Clerk)

February 10, 2018

“Till the full stop doesn’t come, the sentence is not complete”: Amrendra Kumar (IBPS RRB PO)

Meri kahaani kuch zada hi badi hai. After completing my BBA finance I opted for MBA. Phir placement hua in another state lekin ghar walo ne bola search for a job in hometown. CV le k pura market ghumi but mba k lye sirf "tele calling" profile mili. Corporate se sanyas le k teaching field me try kia phle college join kia to teaching graduates & post graduates 2 din kia left it. Phr socha girls school better choice hoga applied in a CBSE school gave an interview & got recruited in the month of July 2014.11-12th standard ko I taught business studies & Economics. Again same after 3 days, i left it. Teaching wasn't my cup of tea.

Ghar se bhot pressure aane lga job kro ya marriage as I lost my dad when I was 15 years old toh relatives ka influence zada tha ghar me. Relatives ne toh itna taunts mara k MBA kr k ghr bethi hai. Your degree is useless. My cousins my relatives my neighbors were behaving as if unke hi tukdo pe pal rhi hu support koi nhi krta tha bus gyan dete the "general" hai hum kyu khud ka time waste kr rhi hai sharm kro itna padh likh k ghar bethe ho. Ghar ki maid bhi puchti thi didi aap din bhar ghar kyu rehte ho.

I wanted a government job I prepared & gave ibps.
2014 ibps clerks (was called for an interview aisa lga tha job bus mil hi gyi hai but scored 138 in mains & combined me out by 1.4 marks)
2014 ibps po failed
Again sab k muh khulne lg gye. Ki tumse na ho paega.
2015 ibps po called for interview again 3-4 marks se fail (mains 89) (interview 8.2)
2015 ibps clerk failed in final (ibps po ki khushi me clerk ko seriously nhi lia)
2016 ohho PATTERN CHANGE KA SHIKAR IS BAR TOH PO MAINS BHI FAIL & NO HOPES FOR CLERK FAILED BY 1.8 MARKS IN FINAL

Starting me I used to feel like committing suicide or running away from house. After it, I started ignoring my relatives & negative people around me.
With full motivation in the year 2017, i decided to fill all the forms I am eligible for. 2017 was a year of examinations for me. This time I really studied hard.
Rbi grade B failed in pre by 6 marks
Bob manipal- failed
Sbi po mains 49.5 cutoff gen 50
Ibps os 1 mains failed in maths but scored 15+ more than cutoff but of no use.
Ibps clerk - non eligible by 4 days (28 yrs completed)
Ibps po done with interview (hopeful)
Ibps rrb oa- Got an Allotment ( All praise is due to God) It was my last attempt due to my age limit.
1 February, 2018 a big day of my life I was having my ibps interview 1pm which was in another city + ye pta tha ki aaj late evening me rrb result aega. As soon I reached there I had a burger & came inside the centre at 12pm lawn me beth k I opened bankersadda & dekha omg result agya result khola & dekha aaj toh Allotment mil gya finally I started crying+ smiling+ laughing mixed feelings & satisfaction ki last attempt me akhir naukri mil gyi.

I don't want to give any strategies & all but want to say that stay away from negativity & ignore demotivating people. Don't take them seriously. Just listen to your heart, pray daily, eat healthy, practice as if tomorrow is your exam & don't waste your precious time as I did it once.
I would like to thank my would be Mr.P. Mehbub who motivated & supported me whenever I got depressed & frustrated. Thanks to my brother who paid for my expensive ibps forms & took me to the far away centers. Thanks to Bankersadda for providing general awareness capsules.
At last i want to say some filmy lines which motivated me a lot.

"Itni shiddat se maine tumhe paane ki koshish ki hai ... ki har zarre ne mujhe tumse milane ki saazish ki hai.Kehte hain agar kisi cheez ko dil se chaho ... to puri kainaat usse tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jaati hai"

But it's just a beginning abhi toh Rbi grade B officer bhi bnna hai.
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.
The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.
