Tamil Nadu PSC Exam Pattern & Syllabus

Tamil Nadu State Public Service Commission has recently released 9351 vacancies for the Direct Recruitment for the post of Village Administrative Officer, Junior Assistant (Non-Security & Security), Bill Collector-Grade I, Field Surveyor, Draftsman, Typist and Steno-Typist-Grade -III. In this article, you will get to know the exam pattern and syllabus of Combined Civil Services Examination.

    Some importants points about exam:-

    Two types of question papers will be set.
    Type- 1:-: General Studies (75 items) + Aptitude Test (25 items) and General English (100 items).Type-2:-:General Studies (75 items) +Aptitude Test (25 items) and General Tamil (100 items).
    Candidates are given the option to choose either General Tamil or General English for answering the second 100 items apart from answering the first (75+25)100 items on General Studies and Aptitude Test.
    The questions on General Studies will be set both in English and Tamil and the questions on General Tamil/ General English will be set in the respective languages.

    Note: Applicants should possess adequate knowledge of Tamil on the date of this Notification ( i.e. as on 14.11.2017)
    Applicants who do not possess an adequate knowledge in Tamil may also apply.If  selected, they should pass the Second Class Language Test (Full Test) in Tamil within a  period of two years from the date of their appointment, failing which they will be discharged from service.

    UNIT-III: GEOGRAPHY

    UNIT-V: INDIAN POLITY
